Thor Construction and Remodeling, led by Tucson native Darwin, brings over 30 years of hands-on experience to every project. Darwin started in carpentry at age 12 and later earned a Master of Science in Construction from Cal State East Bay. His background includes framing, metalworking, plumbing, electrical, and roofing on both residential and commercial projects across Tucson and the Bay Area. Locally, Darwin has worked on properties near Sabino Canyon, the University of Arizona campus, and the historic Barrio Viejo neighborhood. The company specializes in remodeling, general contracting, and damage restoration. They handle the frequent water damage issues seen in Tucson—slab leaks from aging plumbing, leaking skylights after monsoon storms, and sewage backups in older neighborhoods. Their team provides fast, thorough cleanup and rebuilds, coordinating with insurers to restore homes quickly. For new construction, they build custom homes, ADUs, detached garages, and room additions with a focus on fit and finish.
